First mobile comfort hub in Knokke-Heist

The first ‘mobile comfort hub’ of ONE HUNDRED restrooms has opened on the Alfred Verweeplein in Knokke-Heist. Mobile comfort hubs are luxurious public toilets that offer visitors a moment of hygiene and tranquility. ONE HUNDRED currently has luxury toilets in Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands and Belgium. After the Waasland Shopping Center in Sint-Niklaas and the Stadsfeestzaal in Antwerp, Knokke-Heist is their third Belgian location. A mobile variant was specially developed for the West Flemish seaside resort.

The innovative toilet concept was officially opened by alderman of Tourism of Knokke-Heist, Anthony Wittesaele and co-founder/CCO of ONEHUNDRED, Bram Gleichman. It is the perfect solution for the seaside resort that values ​​experience and comfort. “We are very pleased that we finally have a high-quality toilet solution and are a step further in perfecting the experience of visitors to our city,” says alderman of Tourism, Anthony Wittesaele.

Hygiene and tranquility

These toilets are made for hygiene and tranquility. There is soothing music, indirect lighting and comfortable furnishings. In addition, the toilets are equipped with the latest gadgets such as contactless solutions and water-saving flushing systems.

Discount

Visitors have to pay for their toilet visit, but receive a discount in selected local shops in return.
