Vaccination certificate and recovery certificate are valid for a shorter period of time
Until now, the recovery certificate was valid for one year and the vaccination certificate had no expiration date. That is now about to change, because the validity is being aligned with other European countries. From now on, a vaccination certificate is still valid for 270 days from the moment of vaccination and a recovery certificate for 180 days. All paper proofs issued to date will expire on April 1.
Criticism of the House of Representatives
Earlier this week there was much criticism in the House of Representatives about the expiry of the validity of the vaccination certificate, but a motion to put a stop to it did not receive a majority.
