Bird flu has been established on a poultry farm in Gasselternijveenschemond in Drenthe, near Stadskanaal. The 71,000 animals on the site are cleared, reports the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) on Tuesday. It is the first infection in the Netherlands since March this year.
