A total of eleven cities and municipalities are part of the Imog region. Five of them have already completely switched to the Diftar system. A transition period is currently underway in five other municipalities. The Diftar containers and organic waste buckets have now been delivered there, although the last bins are still being distributed. “We expect everything to be ready by the first collection,” said Delie. “January 15 has only been set as the start date in Kortrijk.”
Anyone who still has household waste bags in stock may continue to use them for the time being, provided that an additional sticker is placed on them. From Monday, residents can also track their waste data and invoicing online via mijn.imog.be.
