Bird flu has been diagnosed at a poultry farm in Gasselternijveenschemond, Drenthe, near Stadskanaal. The 71,000 animals on the site are being culled, the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) reported on Tuesday. It is the first infection in the Netherlands since March of this year.
