The ten houses are in a circle of 200 meters from the place and were evacuated on Monday at the end of the afternoon. There was a risk of explosion, because it was about ‘seriously heavy fireworks’, said a fire brigade spokesperson. “Moreover, fireworks do not go together with extreme heat,” he added.
The police have been investigating for hours. The fire brigade previously reported that four houses had been evacuated, but that was adjusted later in the evening.
A specialized company has given advice to professionally unload the fireworks and then remove it. This job started after eight o’clock in the evening and is expected to take a few hours.
For the neighborhood this has no big risk, after which it was decided to return the local residents from nine o’clock. The farm, where signs have long been with ‘forbidden access for unauthorized’ and the yard where the fireworks were found, remain a risk area.
Emergency services scored earlier on Monday afternoon to a so-called GRIP1 situation. This means that different types of emergency services work structurally to tackle an emergency.
