25 units of the Generalitat Fire Brigade are working this Saturday at noon on a forest fire that has been declared in the Pàndols mountain range, in Gandesa (Terra Alta).
The body works with a water line on the right flank of the fire “so that it does not catch the wind in favor”and with hand tools on the left flank so that the fire does not spread through the hull.

The fire warning was received at 1:04 p.m. in the area between Coll del Torner and Santa Magdalena, near the Monument in la Pau. Twelve Firefighters ground crews, a helicopter and two surveillance and attack planes (AVA) have moved to the place and are trying to prevent the fire from advancing.
“Warning of forest fire to the Sierra de Pàndols, next to the road that goes up to level 705. We ask all citizens not to circulate on the Fontcalda path“, announced the Gandesa City Council.
