The fire on a balcony of an apartment in Roosendaal on Sunday afternoon may have been started. The police announced this on Sunday after investigating the cause of the fire.
The police received a report of the fire on Memlincstraat around a quarter to two in the afternoon. The fire brigade scaled up as a precaution and arrived on site with several vehicles. They quickly extinguished the flames and provided first aid.
The cause of the fire was immediately investigated. “There is reason to believe that the fire may have been deliberately lit,” police said. That’s why they ask anyone who has seen or heard anything to come forward.
