The fire brigade was quickly on site and could extinguish the fire. The complex was mainly damage on the outside. The damage was limited inside. The cause of the fire is still being investigated by a fire expert.
Youth complex Zandberg is used by youth movements and also for playground operation in the summer. This operation is moving to another location for the time being, but according to the fire brigade, most of the building can be reused after ventilation.
