On Monday evening, shortly before 8 p.m., a fire engine and an Opel collided at the Lindauer Allee / Teichstraße intersection in Reinickendorf.

The fire engine was on its way to support the emergency services with blue lights when the crash occurred.

According to initial findings, the occupants of the car were slightly injured, but fortunately no one had to go to the hospital – no one was injured in the fire engine either.

Property damage of an unknown amount was caused to the vehicles, the police are now investigating the cause of the accident.
