The fire brigade saved several animals from a burning house on the Muntelaar in Veghel on Monday evening. It is a dog and a cage with rabbits. One of the residents saw black in his face. Another resident was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The emergency services received a report of the fire around eight o’clock. This was on the second floor of an apartment complex behind King Willem I College.
A number of residents of the complex had inhaled smoke and were checked by ambulance personnel. The cause of the fire is unknown.
