A woman was rescued from quicksand by the fire brigade on Texel. The woman got stuck in the sand on the beach near De Cocksdorp.
The woman was unable to get out on her own. Ultimately, the fire brigade managed to free the woman. The woman was not injured. The Texelse Courant reports this.
It is the second time this week that someone has become stuck in quicksand on Texel. Last Tuesday a man got into a tight spot, but managed to get out on his own.
