Padel hall company Padel X files for bankruptcy.
The company announced the matter in a press release published today on Tuesday.
– Padel X Oy has filed for bankruptcy today, December 16, 2025. The company’s board has explored different options for continuing the company’s operations and solving the financial situation. Continuation of operations proved to be impossible, and as a result, the board agreed with the restructuring auditor’s point of view and decided to file for bankruptcy of the company.
In last year’s fiscal year, Padel X’s turnover was 2.4 million euros, but the company made losses of one and a half million euros.
The company applied for corporate restructuring in March 2025. In the restructuring, the company concentrated its operations in Helsinki at the Vallila center.
Still the CEO of Padel X at that time Marius Van Andringa assesses that the conditions for the renovation are good.
In 2024, Padel X bought a former NHL player Ville Leinon the padel courts founded by Billebeino. Leino commented after the spring company restructuring news Ilta-Sanom having seen the popularity of the sport fade and the financial problems that follow.
– We had other good projects in big cities, but they died when the war and the energy crisis came. The construction stopped and the costs went up, Leino commented to IS.
