The Finnish knitting brand Alpa will open three new stores in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area in the fall of 2025, the Alpan bulletin states.
The first shop opened in Sello in Espoo on Saturday, September 13th. The other two stores will open their doors later in the Aina and Iso Omena shopping centers.
– Espoo is the most significant in our city’s e -commerce sale right after Helsinki, the founder of Alpa Heikki Timlin says in the bulletin.
According to Timlin, expanding to well -known shopping centers is a natural next step to get closer to customers.
The stores that open are seasonal stores, and according to the Alpan release, the purpose is to map the best business places for the future. The stores employ 12 new employees and are open until spring 2026.
“We are ready to open the stores on a quick schedule if the business places are suitable for us,” Timlin says in the release.
Alpa already has three brick -and -mortar stores in Helsinki, Tampere and Jyväskylä. The Jyväskylä shop is a factory outlet.
– E -commerce is what much is talked about, but most people prefer to shop in the store, as long as it hits the customer’s path, Alpa’s marketing director Lauri Hilliaho says in the bulletin.

In the fashion industry in turmoil
In the Finnish fashion world, miserable times have been lived for a long time.
For example, in January, the Finnish women’s clothing brand Nosh Company said he would apply for a corporate reorganization.
In January, the Finnish Hálo fashion brand also announced that it would cease operations.
In April, Manna Oy, a former parent company in Vallila, filed for bankruptcy. Now Vallila is owned by Finlayson & Co.
Samuji, for his part, announced the bankruptcy on the company’s Facebook page in May.
