The former endurance run talent was transferred to cross -country skiing over the last decade.

– For the season 2024-25, I went to race skiing and for the first time in my life I skied a little more professional.

On Sunday, Kettunen was sixteenth in the Taivalkoski Championships in the 30km race. He bent to the winner Kerttu Niskanen over eight minutes.
– There was nothing special during the race. Already in warm -up, I felt that my legs were like wood. Then it was a perseverance to the finish. From time to time, I progressed evenly.
