Film director and screenwriter Jeff Baena has passed away at the age of 47. He is known, among other things, for films The Little House, Life After Beth and JOSHY -as a director. Among other things, they reported on the matter TMZ and Variety.
Baena’s assistant found Baena dead in his Los Angeles home on Friday morning. TMZ says authorities say Beana took her own life. Variety, on the other hand, states that there is no information yet on the cause of death.
Baena was together with actress Aubrey Plaza, known for example from the series The White Lotus and Agatha All Alongas well as movies Megalopolis and Dirty Grandpa.
The couple started dating in 2011 and got engaged ten years later, i.e. in 2021. TMZ writes that there is no exact information about the couple’s wedding. However, Plaza has referred to her husband in interviews, so it’s likely that they got married hidden from the public eye.
