There are far fewer trains running from, via and to Schiphol throughout the day. This is due to a switch fault. This is expected to last until approximately 11:15 p.m.
According to the NS, travelers today mainly rely on the Amsterdam metro or bus transport.
It is not known what caused the malfunction. NS advises travelers to plan their journey in advance via the journey planner.
