Fewer people with corona in hospital again

The number of corona patients in Dutch hospitals has decreased by 45 compared to Thursday. There are still 1,550 people who have contracted the virus in hospital, 110 of whom are in intensive care. This is evident from the figures of the National Coordination Center for Patients Distribution (LCPS) on Friday.

18 patients were added to the ICs and 153 to the nursing wards. Because people also disappeared from the wards, the total turned out to be lower.

The LCPS makes no distinction in the figures between patients who have been admitted because of corona and people who are in hospital for another reason and who happened to have tested positive for the virus.
