The number of occupational accidents in the construction sector continues to decline. In 2023, there were even fewer accidents resulting in disability than in 2020, when construction sites were shut down for a long time due to the corona lockdowns. This is what construction federation Embuild says based on figures from Fedris, the federal agency for Occupational Risks. According to Embuild, the decrease is due to the basic safety training that was introduced in 2023.
