From the big German flagships like Rock am Ring, Wacken or Parookaville to global giants like Glastonbury, Tomorrowland or Coachella – they all stand for unforgettable moments, extraordinary feelings of community and spectacular productions. Here is an overview of the most important festivals for 2026, when they will take place and where you can get tickets.

Rock at the ring and rock in the park
When: June 5th to June 7th, 2026

Highfield Festival
When: August 14th to 16th, 2026
Where: Leipzig, Störmthaler See Grosspösna
The first bands have already been announced for the Highfield Festival. Participating in 2026: Kraftklub, SDP, Beatsteaks and 01099. Tickets for the entire festival weekend can already be purchased.
Deichbrand Festival
When: July 16th to 19th, 2026
Where: Cuxhaven/Nordholz sea airport

The picturesque open air impresses with its family atmosphere and its own festival tradition. Open Flair Festival
When: August 12th to 16th, 2026

The Open Flair Festival 2026 is going into the next round and once again offers a diverse mix of rock, alternative, punk, indie and hip-hop – traditionally in the middle of charming Eschwege in northern Hesse. The acts that have already been confirmed include SDP, Dropkick Murphys, Feine Sahne Fischfilet, Zartmann, Bosse, Donots, Kaffkiez, Hot Water Music, Das Lumpenpack, Deine Cousine and many other well-known names and festival favorites from different genres. Tickets for all festival days are currently available, day tickets are expected to be offered at the beginning of 2026 (as of November 23rd).
Wacken Open Air: The most important metal festival in Germany
When: 07/29 until August 1st, 2026
Where: Wacken (Schleswig-Holstein)

Parookaville

Germany’s largest electronic music festival will be back at Weeze Airport in 2026 and will celebrate a weekend full of EDM, techno, house and club culture. The line-up for next year has not yet been published (as of November 23rd). Festival tickets are already available.
Airbeat One
When: July 8th to 12th, 2026

The Airbeat One Festival invites you again in 2026 to five days full of electronic music and international superstars at the festival ground in Neustadt-Glewe. With its concept of spectacular stages, gigantic lighting design and diverse DJ landscape, Airbeat One is one of the most famous EDM, hardstyle and techno events in Germany. Lollapalooza Berlin
When: July 18th to 19th, 2026
Where: Olympic Stadium & Olympic Park, Berlin

In 2026, Lollapalooza Berlin will once again bring the international festival feeling to the heart of the capital, with a cross-genre mix of pop, rock, indie, hip-hop and electronic music. The urban festival is one of the largest in Europe and attracts around 60,000 fans every year to the traditional venue at the Olympic Stadium. The line-up for the upcoming edition has not yet been officially announced (as of November 24th). Tickets for the festival are already available.
Reeperbahn Festival
When: September 16th to 19th, 2026
Where: Hamburg, around the Reeperbahn/St. Pauli

With around 40,000 visitors and over 400 concerts, the Reeperbahn Festival is one of the largest and most diverse music and club festivals in Europe. Here, newcomers, international acts and established artists from pop, rock, indie, electro, hip-hop and more meet the creative heart of Hamburg. In addition to concerts, there is art, conferences, readings and lots of supporting programs.
The line-up for 2026 has not yet been determined (as of November 24th). Traditionally, the first names are announced in the months before the festival. Festival tickets are already available for early birds.
Splash! Festival: The most important hip-hop festival in Germany
When: July 2nd to July 4th, 2026
Where: Ferropolis (Gräfenhainichen, Saxony-Anhalt)
Germany’s largest hip-hop festival will again bring rap, German rap, trap and urban sound to the unique stage between the Baggers in Ferropolis in 2026. The first wave of bands for 2026 is already officially out (as of November 24th). SSIO, Souly, Ikkimel, Zackavelli, 102 Boyz, Baran Kok, Mariybu and Beyazz are confirmed. The ticket shop is currently closed.
The best alternative festival: Fusion
When: June 24th to 28th, 2026
Where: Lärz Airfield (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania)

The Fusion Festival is the most famous alternative music and art festival in Germany. For five days, a parallel society is created here consisting of theater, performance, installations and a diverse music program – from electro to indie to world music. The line-up for 2026 has not yet been published (as of November 24th). At Fusion it is usual for the names to be announced shortly before the festival starts. As always, you can expect an eclectic mix of electronic music, indie and live bands. Tickets will be available for purchase via raffle – registration for the ticket lottery runs from December 1st to 14th.
