Ferrari driver Leclerc’s pole position at the French Grand Prix



Leclerc, who achieved the best time of 1 minute 30,872 seconds in the qualifying laps held on the 5.8 kilometer Paul Ricard Track in the town of Le Castellet, won the right to start the race from the first pocket.


The 24-year-old Ferrari driver has reached 7th pole position this season and 16th of his career.


Red Bull’s Dutch driver Max Verstappen was second, 0.304 seconds behind Leclerc, and Mexican Sergio Perez from the same team was third, 0.463 seconds behind.


The 12th race of the season in the championship will start tomorrow at 16.00.
