The driver’s license of Fenerbahçe Beko Men’s Basketball Team captain Melih Mahmutoğlu was confiscated on the grounds that he was driving under the influence of alcohol in Beşiktaş. During the traffic inspection carried out in Etiler District on October 23, the vehicle used by Mahmutoğlu was stopped.
Mahmutoğlu, who was found to have 1.15 promil alcohol in the test, was taken to the police station for necessary procedures.
The driver’s license of Mahmutoğlu, to whom an administrative fine was imposed in accordance with the relevant article of the Highway Traffic Law, was confiscated. In addition, the vehicle used by Mahmutoğlu was temporarily banned from traffic.
