Ski star and pop star form new duo

Felix Hacker is looking forward to the World Cup highlight in Kitzbühel. Things are also going well for the ski racer off the piste.
The last time Felix Hacker threw himself down the slopes in the World Cup was in Bormio at the end of December. The Austrian most recently competed in the European Cup and won both the downhill and the Super-G. Afterwards, the speed specialist told “Krone”: “It’s a lot of fun right now.”
Now he can compete in the World Cup again. Downhill training on the famous Streif in Kitzbühel is scheduled for Tuesday. The Super-G takes place there on Friday and the downhill on Saturday. Hacker can be happy, also because he enjoys music off the piste.
After his 14th place in the Super-G at the World Cup in Bormio, an unusual detour into the recording studio followed. There he met pop star Melissa Naschenweng, with whom he had a special acquaintance.
Hacker: “We met at a birthday party and have been friends ever since. In terms of singing, she says I have potential.” When asked whether there would be a joint hit in the future, the ski racer said: “Why not? Anything is possible.”
