feats Taylor Hawkins: Iggy Pop officially announces new album EVERY LOSER

The first single “Frenzy” was released in October, and now Iggy Pop has officially announced his new album EVERY LOSER. The Godfather of Punk’s 19th record is scheduled for release on January 6, 2023.

EVERY LOSER is released through a partnership between Atlantic Records and Gold Tooth Records, producer Andrew Watt’s new label. As featured on Frenzy, Watt plays guitar on the album, while Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker provide pop strengthened. The late Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters is also said to be featured on it.

“I’m the shirtless guy who rocks. Andrew and Gold Tooth understand that and we made a record together the old fashioned way,” Iggy said. “The musicians are guys I’ve known since we were kids and the music will blow your mind.” The current Iggy Pop album FREE was released in 2019.
