Expenses increase to 11.7 million

With SV Elversberg, Robin Fellhauer narrowly failed on the Bundesliga promotion-for the 27-year-old it now works with the 1st league. FC Augsburg announced the obligation of the defensive all-rounder on Saturday. According to “Kicker” information, the FCA made use of an exit clause that amounts to 700,000 euros.
Captain Fellhauer leaves Elversberg after six years and 178 games. In two years 2nd league he completed 56 games and collected 14 scorer points. FCA managing director Michael Ströll says: “Robin fits perfectly with our requirement profile: he is strong and duel-strong, flexible and also has offensive qualities. We are very happy that we were able to win one of the top players of the past second division season for FC Augsburg.”
For the FCA, Fellhauer is the third new addition of the summer to Elias Saad (25, St. Pauli) and Kyliane Dong (20, Troyes) – the loan players Chrislain Matsima (23, Monaco) and Cédric Zesiger (27, Wolfsburg) were also firmly hired. The expenses increase to EUR 11.7 million, the transfer income amounts to 8.2 million euros.
Fellhauer, who will play with number 19, says: “Being able to play in the Bundesliga has always been my big goal. The fact that I can now fulfill this wish with the move to the FCA means a lot to me. Those responsible have tried intensively for me. I look forward to the challenge with an established Bundesliga club and will do everything possible to contribute to the success of the team with my achievements.”
