The transition from Benaissa Benamar to FC Volendam is complete. The defender is training with the selection of trainer Wim Jonk for the first time today. Benamar is rented from FC Utrecht for the second half of the season. The club will definitely include him if he is promoted to the Eredivisie.

Yesterday it became clear that the conversations with the former Telstar player were in the final phase. FC Volendam was looking for reinforcements for the rear, because the wash in the back is thin. Derry John Murkin has been injured all season and Brian Plat has been added in recent weeks.

FC Utrecht contract

Since his transfer from Telstar to FC Utrecht a year ago, Benamar has played six matches in the shirt of his new club. He has a contract until the summer of 2023 in the Domstad.

It is not yet certain whether the defender will be in the selection against NAC Breda tomorrow evening. The club is still busy arranging the last papers, so that he is also eligible to play.

NAC Breda – FC Volendam can be followed live on NH Radio tomorrow evening from 7 p.m.
