FC Sevilla qualified for the Champions League

FC Sevilla is the fourth and last club in the Spanish Primera Division to qualify for the Champions League.

The Moroccan Youssef En-Nesyri (85th) secured the necessary point for the six-time European Cup winner in a 1-1 (0-1) win at the dethroned defending champion Atletico Madrid on the penultimate matchday to stay safely ahead of local rivals Real Betis in the table.

Champions Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Atletico have already been confirmed as participants in the premier class.

At the season finale next Sunday, only the decisions about the Europa and Conference League and relegation will be made in La Liga.

Real Mallorca improved its position significantly. The promoted team won against Rayo Vallecano 2-1 (1-0) on Sunday and passed FC Cadiz, who were tied on points, to the first non-relegation zone.

Cadiz still drew 1-1 (1-1) against Champions League finalist Real Madrid (with Toni Kroos), but has to tremble. Deportivo Alaves and UD Levante have already been relegated.
