FC Schalke 04 and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim agree on Bülter Poker

Marius Bülter’s move to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim had been hinted at for weeks, and now the announcement is apparently imminent. According to consistent media reports, the goalgetter will leave FC Schalke 04 and leave the miners with a warm shower of money.

Marius Bülter is said to have agreed on a working paper with TSG 1899 Hoffenheim since the beginning of June. However, the transfer could not be completed because FC Schalke 04 proved to be a tough negotiating partner in the talks and insisted on a transfer fee of around five million euros.

But now the two clubs have apparently achieved a breakthrough in the negotiations, so that the deal is close to completion. “Sky” and “Bild” unanimously report an agreement.

FC Schalke 04: Bülter has already said goodbye

Should the obligatory medical check not bring any problems to light, Bülter will promptly sign a three-year contract in Kraichgau. The Schalke supervisory board also has to wave the transfer through.

According to “Sky” reporter Florian Plettenberg, the miners will receive a base fee of around three million euros as compensation. Success-based bonuses can increase this to up to four million euros. Money that the Royal Blues can use well. After all, the Revierklub now has to look for a replacement for the 30-year-old, who attracted attention with eleven Bundesliga goals last season.

All in all, Bülter, who moved from Union Berlin to the Ruhr area in 2021, played 69 competitive games in the FC Schalke 04 jersey. He scored 23 goals and 14 assists and thus played a large part in the Bundesliga return in the 2021/22 season. The offensive player is said to have already said goodbye to his current teammates.
