Second division football club 1. FC Nürnberg has extended the contract with its captain Christopher Schindler.
The club did not provide any information about the duration of the contract. The 32-year-old central defender switched from Huddersfield to the nine-time German champions in the summer of 2021.
“With his many years of experience in the professional field, Christopher is an important building block in our team as captain. He is sportingly valuable, authentic and a good contact person for the sports management,” said FCN sports director Dieter Hecking.
