Liverpool supports Diogo Jota’s family with a million

Shortly before his death, Diogo Jota had married his childhood sweetheart Rod Cardoso. In order to support them in the future, FC Liverpool was now responding.
After the death of Diogo Jota, his last club, the Liverpool FC, takes care of Jota’s widow rod Cardoso and his family. As Portuguese media report, the “Reds” will pay the remaining two annual salaries to the family until Jota’s contract expires.
In Liverpool, JOTA earned a rumored annual salary of 583,000 euros per month. This corresponds to an annual salary of almost seven million euros and over the range of two years a total of 14 million euros.
Jota died with his brother André Silva last Thursday in a car accident in Spain. They had lost control of their cars and the car had risen into flames after the impact. Any help came too late for both brothers. Only eleven days earlier, Jota had married his childhood love. The couple has three children together.
Jota had only won the English championship with FC Liverpool in May and in June with the Portuguese national team had the title in the Nations League.
