100 million transfer? Liverpool with interest in Frankfurt’s Ekitiké

This year’s transfer summer has it all. This is because the clubs are allowed to sign players for the first time in two different periods. Due to the club World Cup, the first transfer window for the participating clubs opens on June 1st and then closes again on June 10th. The regular transfer window then extends from July 1st to September 1st.
According to information from the Pay TV station “Sky”, FC Liverpool has entered the race for Frankfurt’s striker Hugo Ekitiké. Initial talks between the English champion and the management of the striker are said to have already taken place. An official offer should not have existed so far.
Frankfurt’s sports director Markus Krösche demands a transfer fee of at least 100 million euros for the Frenchman. In the summer of 2024, Ekitiké was firmly switched to the Hesse for 16.5 million euros from Paris Saint-Germain. Previously, the Frankfurters had loaned the French in February 2024.

The 1. FC Köln has strengthened with Ragnar Ache after returning to the Bundesliga. The striker changes from 1. FC Kaiserslautern to the Rhine and signed a contract until summer 2029. According to information from the “kicker”, Cologne activated an exit clause in Aches contract.
The 26-year-old was very accurate in the past two seasons in Lautern. In his first season on the Betzenberg, Ache scored 16 goals, in the season that has just passed, he even scored 18 times.
“For our squad planning, the occupation of this position was a central goal,” said FC sports director Thomas Kessler. “He is not only a really good striker, but also a guy who will quickly integrate into our team and improve our offensive with its quality in the top.”
FC Bayern Munich ended Adam Aznou’s loan prematurely due to the club World Cup.
