FOOTBALL – Of course FC Emmen does not want to ask the gods, but a scenario must of course be made if the Drenthe club becomes champion for the first time in history this Friday. If that happens in Eindhoven, then a day later the celebration will take place with a tour of Emmen followed by a ceremony on the Stadionplein.
The tour, in an open bus, starts on Saturday at 4.30 pm. Of course with start and finish at De Oude Meerdijk. The exact route is not yet known, but it is certain that the bus will go through Angelslo, the center and Emmerhout.
Afterwards, the selection will be honored on a stage in front of the stadium, on Stadionplein. The ceremony begins at 6:00 PM.
FC Emmen can take the title with a win, a draw and even a defeat. In the latter case, FC Volendam may not win against FC Dordrecht. If Volendam does win, Emmen must at least take a point at FC Eindhoven on Friday evening.
