Until recently, Lee-Roy Echteld was still full-time employed by PEC Zwolle as an assistant to head coach Dick Schreuder. There, the former player of SC Heerenveen, AZ and Heracles Almelo, among others, took charge of the strikers and was responsible for the progression of talented football players to the first team. He signed in Zwolle for two years. It is unclear whether he will leave there now.
