A pitch-black evening for FC Den Bosch and FC Eindhoven in the Kitchen Champion Division (KKD). The Den Bosch sub-topper suffered a hard defeat at Roda JC (6-0 loss). Equally ignominious was the 0-4 defeat that FC Eindhoven suffered against Vitesse, the ninth match in a row without a win.

Helmond Sport (4-2 against Jong AZ) and Willem II (2-3 win at RKC) could be satisfied. Jong PSV seemed to be on its way to a 1-2 victory over Jong Ajax, but in extra time the score was still 2-2.

Big idiot
Michael Breij was the great tormentor for FC Den Bosch in Kerkrade. The Roda JC attacker scored no fewer than four times. The goals were divided between both halves. Veghel native Anthony van de Hurk and Joshua Schwirten scored the other two goals for the Limburg team.

FC Eindhoven remains in the corner where the blows fall. It even fell short on its own field against bottom-of-the-line Vitesse. Adam Tahaui, Marco Schikora, Joao Pinto and Nino Zonneveld took care of the Arnhem production. Maurice Verberne, trainer of FC Eindhoven, told the ESPN reporter: “I let it happen to me, but I remain combative. And with the players returning after an injury, things could easily turn out differently.”

Two hits Bajrami
Helmond Sport achieved its fifth competition victory. The win was thanks to goals from Labinot Bajrami (two), Lennerd Daneels (who also missed a penalty and received a yellow card) and Noah Makanza.

Jong PSV took the lead twice against Jong Ajax, but ultimately only managed one point in the match against the Amsterdam rival. The Eindhoven goals were scored by Tai Abed and Robin van Duiven. Jong PSV is the highest ranked Brabant team in the KKD, followed by Willem II by one point, which already beat RKC Waalwijk (2-3) earlier in the evening. TOP Oss will be in action on Saturday, at De Graafschap.
