FC Den Bosch was working on a nice series, but at home against VVV Venlo, coach Jack de Gier’s team dropped the three points. It became 0-2. FC Den Bosch will remain in thirteenth place in the Kitchen Champion Division for the time being. TOP Oss also lost, 3-0 at Heracles Almelo.
The Venlo hits came very early and very late in the game. In the third minute Daan Huisman opened the score with a hard shot and in the 87th minute Sven Braken set the final score at 0-2 from a nicely taken corner.
Until this Saturday, FC Den Bosch had only lost one of the last seven matches. At the beginning of the week, Jong Ajax even managed to make up a two-goal deficit twice.
