Bayern star apparently plans to extend the contract

Dayot upamecano’s contract with the Munich team runs until 2026. But now the Frenchman could stay on the Isar for longer. A report reveals details.

But apart from the offensive player, there is movement – also among the current Munich players. Because Sky now reports: After the last stalling talks, there is apparently moving in the contract negotiations between FC Bayern and defender Dayot Upamecano.
In the past 48 hours there are said to have been progress in the talks. Previously, the conversations had dragged on a possible extension. However, not all details should be clarified yet, the negotiations continued. An extension is under discussion by 2030.
Sky also reports that the Frenchman stays in Munich and, on a quick agreement with the club managers, hope. Upamecano switched from RB Leipzig to Bayern in 2021 for 42.5 million euros, so far used in 147 competitive games for the club, scoring 5 goals. His current contract runs until 2026.
