FC Bayern: Tolisso leaves the record champions after five years, football | Bundesliga – BR – Regional

Corentin Tolisso is leaving record-breaking German football champions FC Bayern Munich after five years. The midfielder came from Olympique Lyon in 2017 for the then Bayern record sum of 41.5 million euros.

“Even in difficult phases, he never let himself be thrown off course and always gave everything for FC Bayern. We wish him every success on his way,” said sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic in a club statement.

Move to Sevilla FC?

The contract of the French world champion, who often struggled with bad luck with injuries during his time in Munich, expires at the end of July. The 27-year-old can therefore leave Bayern free of charge. Most recently, there was speculation about a move to Sevilla FC. “A new page is opened… A big THANK YOU for these 5 beautiful years, which have brought me so much sportingly and personally,” wrote Tolisso on Instagram.

The right footer scored 21 goals in 118 competitive games for Bayern. With FCB he won the German championship five times, the DFB Cup twice and the Champions League once.
