FC Bayern: Thomas Tuchel justifies poison interview

Even before the Champions League home game against Galatasaray, Thomas Tuchel’s TV appearance after the win against BVB at FC Bayern remains a big topic. On Tuesday, the coach once again commented on his sensational media scolding.

Around the clear 4-0 win at Borussia Dortmund, Tuchel vented his anger at the “Sky” experts Lothar Matthäus and Dietmar Hamann in front of the camera and appeared extremely irritated.

The two former Bayern professionals had previously expressed sharp criticism of Tuchel and his team after Munich’s embarrassing exit in the DFB Cup at third division team 1. FC Saarbrücken (1:2).

Before the second premier class duel with Turkish champions Galatasaray, the coach was asked again about his remarkably sarcastic appearance from the weekend. The question arose as to whether the statements had been agreed upon internally beforehand.

“It’s all spontaneous and therefore remains authentic. You will always get a straightforward opinion from me,” Tuchel made it clear.

FC Bayern: Tuchel “dissatisfied with specific reporting”

The trainer doesn’t think that his protégés didn’t receive the necessary attention after the impressive demonstration of power at BVB.

“My team has received their praise and they know that they have shown a great performance,” emphasized Tuchel. He added that he was simply “dissatisfied with specific reporting.” What exactly he was referring to remained unclear.

Tuchel did not add any more fuel to the blazing debate fire. “Everything is fine,” emphasized the 50-year-old, who has been on the sidelines at FC Bayern since March.

The coach of the German record champions had previously received support from his superiors. Both FCB President Herbert Hainer and CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen praised Tuchel’s “defensiveness” after the Bundesliga classic.
