Despite a contract that runs until 2028, there are increasing signs that central defender Minjae Kim could leave FC Bayern this year.
As several media outlets have already reported unanimously, the South Korean international is considered a candidate for cancellation for the upcoming summer transfer phase. Minjae Kim lost his regular place at FC Bayern under head coach Vincent Kompany and was only in Munich’s starting line-up a total of 13 times in the Bundesliga and Champions League.

According to a recent report from Turkish transfer expert Ekrem Konur, FC Bayern has now set a price tag above which they would probably be willing to negotiate. The Munich team’s goal should be a transfer fee in the range of 35 to 40 million euros. According to the media report, with a quick, direct payment the amount could drop towards 30 million.
There should continue to be concrete interest, especially from the Premier League. Chelsea sees Kim as a possible fixture for the reorganization of the defense. Tottenham Hotspur are also apparently considering signing him to join Micky van de Ven.
