After a year at Hannover 96, Hyun-Ju Lee (22) finally leaves FC Bayern. The offensive player changes to the Portuguese first division club FC Arouca, in which he signed a contract until 2028. Lee follows Taichi Fukui (21), who moved from Munich to the small town in the Metropolitan Region Porto a year ago – the transfer is at the same level.
According to report, 1.5 million euros are due for Lee. The South Korean is therefore just behind Arouca’s record shopping Fukui, which was bound for EUR 1.6 million in February. The Lees, mandatory in Portugal, is said to be 7 million euros, FC Bayern would also earn a contribution if a transfer. The Munich is said to have secured a 20 percent resolution.
Lee completed 24 games for Hannover last season, in which he contributed three goals and two templates. In November he celebrated his international debut for South Korea, and its market value rose slightly from 1.2 million to EUR 1.5 million. For the Munich professionals, Lee remained without commitment, for the Bayern reserve he scored ten goals and three assists in 26 games.
