Galatasaray has confirmed the approaching commitment of Leroy Sané. The last negotiations were taken, the club wrote on Thursday night, shortly after the wing striker of FC Bayern had landed in Istanbul. The Turkish champion accompanied the arrival on a live stream on YouTube. The German international is said to have refused a contract offer from Munich. Now the medical check is pending at the Süper-Lig champion.
“I’m happy to be here,” said Sané when he arrived in private jet with Galatasaray scarf, partner Candice at his side. Videos showed him when driving away from the airport, fans with pyro torches lined the street.
