Ribéry celebrated his greatest successes for FC Bayern, who brought him from Olympique Marseille in 2007 for a fee of 30 million euros. This was followed by nine championships, six triumphs in the DFB Cup and winning the Champions League in 2013, when he was at the peak of his career. The title of world footballer, as quite a few people said, wrongly passed Ribéry by. In total, he was active as a professional for nine clubs over 22 years and reached his highest market value in 2010 with 50 million euros.
