FC Bayern is working on a sign of Nick Woltemade from VfB Stuttgart. But the handling of the transfer should not be too easy. Those responsible for the cup winner come across – and supposedly call a much higher transfer than initially thought.
First of all, it was said that FC Bayern had to pay 60 million euros to VfB Stuttgart for Nick Woltemade, the demand is obviously far higher: As the “kicker” reports on Saturday morning, the cup winner has a replacement in the three -digit million range – in order to “sit down at the negotiating table”, as it is said in the journal.
According to the report, this prize presentation was recently sent to those responsible for FC Bayern in the course of a first exchange for the possible Woltemade transfer.
The German record champions assumed a significantly lower sum. So far, the Bayern bosses are said to have expected “only” around 50 million euros.

FC Bayern wants to intensify talks with VfB Stuttgart
Now the talks between the two clubs are to be intensified, at the latest after the round of 16 of FC Bayern at the club World Cup against Flamengo (Sunday, 10:00 p.m. German time). Meanwhile, the summer transfer window opens on Tuesday.
Stuttgart’s CEO Alexander Wehrle only had on Friday when asked by RTL/NTV and sport.de confirms that the U21 star is not for sale: “I have already commented on it. With a point. It remains.”
The 50-year-old had emphasized to the “Stuttgarter Zeitung” and the “Stuttgarter Nachrichten” last week: “We are going to the next season with Nick. Point!” Already in May he had made it clear in conversation with RTL/NTV and Sport.de that Bayern could “stretch out its feelers as they want”.
The top striker of this year’s U21 European Championship has already agreed with the Munich-based company or an oral contract by 20230. Talks between Nick Woltemade and the Bossen of VfB Stuttgart about a salary increase have been unsuccessful in recent months. At the Swabians, the 23-year-old, who only came to Werder Bremen free of charge last summer, is still under contract until 2028.
