“To go to the club World Cup optimally, the first fitness units are already on the plan. Basics endurance, interval runs, strength training, the whole program,” wrote Müller in his monthly newsletter.

“What has always attracted me at tournaments like World Cup, EM or now the club World Cup: You go into this kind of ‘conclave’, four to six weeks of intensive cooperation as a team. As a special highlight, Müller sees the second group game at the club World Cup on June 21st against the Argentine representative Boca Juniors: “As a European footballer, you don’t get such traditional clubs in front of the shotgun.
