FC Bayern messes up the EuroLeague start

After a successful start in the Bundesliga, the basketball players from Bayern Munich suffered a severe setback at the start of the EuroLeague.

The team coached by Andrea Trinchieri lost 62:74 (34:40) in their own hall against the Turkish champions Fenerbahce Istanbul.

Last year’s quarter-finalists were permanently behind after a 7-0 start. Othello Hunter (18 points) and international Nick Weiler-Babb (12) fought against the defeat on the Munich side.

The German double winner Alba Berlin will start the EuroLeague on Friday (8:00 p.m. / MagentaSport) against the Serbian record champions Partizan Belgrade.
