For Timo Werner, Tottenham Hotspur is anything but round. Now the German has to cope with the next blow.
The German football professional Timo Werner was deleted from the squad for the Europa League at his English club Tottenham Hotspur. The former international had to give way to the Frenchman Mathys Tel, whom the Londoners borrowed from FC Bayern Munich last Monday.
The 28 -year -old Werner came to Tottenham on a loan from RB Leipzig in January 2024, but experienced a difficult time there. In the Premier League, the attacker is only a substitute. He has been missing because of a thigh injury since the beginning of January.
