Tikvic works too

FC Bayern Munich has loaned attacking talent Arijon Ibrahimovic to Italy for the prospect of more match practice. The 17-year-old left winger has joined newly promoted Serie A players Frosinone Calcio for a season with an option to buy, as announced on Deadline Day. Ibrahimovic has been trained with the German record champions since 2018, he made his professional debut in February in a 3-0 win against VfL Bochum at the age of 17 years and two months. His only mission so far.

“Arijon Ibrahimovic has the opportunity to gain match practice at a high level in a top European league. Therefore, we are convinced that this loan is a very exciting solution for all three parties. We look forward to Ari’s further sporting and personal development in Frosinone and wish him every success,” said Jochen Sauer, director of youth development, about the German U19 international, whose contract in Munich runs until 2025.

Tikvic also leaves FC Bayern: change to Udinese Calcio

Shortly after Ibrahimovic, FC Bayern also announced the departure of Antonio Tikvic. The 19-year-old central defender is making a permanent move from the second team to Italian first division side Udinese Calcio.

Sauer explained: “Toni has developed well in the one year with us and was able to draw positive attention to himself on the Asia tour of our pros. We are delighted that he has now had the opportunity to continue on his path in Udinese and wish him all the best for this great challenge in a top league.”
