Adidas suffers a glitch with FC Bayern jersey

FC Bayern presented their new home jersey shortly before the Champions League second leg against Paris. There was a breakdown at the supplier.
On Monday, FC Bayern presented the jersey for the 2026/27 season, which the team will wear in the semi-final second leg against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday (9 p.m./DAZN and in the live ticker on t-online). At the same time, supplier Adidas also offered the jersey with Kingsley Coman’s name and number 11 on the back – even though the Frenchman had already left the club in the summer of 2025. Accordingly, it was a system error. The basic version of the jersey costs 100 euros, the authentic version costs 150 euros.
After ten years with the German champions, Coman moved to Al-Nassr in mid-August for around 30 million euros, where he now plays together with Cristiano Ronaldo. At FC Bayern, the new red and white jersey will be used without him for the first time against PSG.

The club explained: “In this special game, the team around Joshua Kimmich, Michael Olise and Harry Kane is wearing a jersey that stands for everything that defines the club: self-confidence, charisma and an absolute winning mentality. In powerful red and white, the new home jersey combines tradition with a modern, striking appearance – made for big moments.”
In terms of sport, Bayern are under pressure after losing 4:5 in the first leg. To reach the final on May 30th in Budapest, coach Vincent Kompany’s team needs a win with a two-goal lead; a win with a one-goal difference would mean at least extra time.
In addition to the faulty Coman flock, fans from Adidas were also able to purchase a jersey with the number 11 on loan player Nicolas Jackson, who came from Chelsea. The new jersey was not available with Coman’s name in the official Bayern shop.
