After winning the double, FC Bayern’s planning for the coming season is already in full swing. The club probably also has a DFB professional in mind.
FC Bayern Munich is apparently interested in signing Yann Aurel Bisseck. This is reported by the “Bild” newspaper. Accordingly, the Munich team is said to have already specifically inquired about a possible commitment from Bisseck’s club Inter Milan.
The 25-year-old defender won the championship (his second) and cup double with Inter last season. Bisseck showed strong performances in the Milan defense. However, he was not named in the World Cup squad by national coach Julian Nagelsmann.
As a young German player with international experience who can also be used in several positions, Bisseck is very interesting for FC Bayern. According to the report, Bisseck himself is also said to be not averse to a move, as it would give him the opportunity to prove himself at Germany’s biggest club and thus become the focus of the national team again.
According to “Bild”, initial discussions between Munich and Inter have shown that the Milanese are willing to talk from a transfer fee of 40 million euros. In order to sign the defender, Bayern would first have to sell players. One candidate: Min-jae Kim, whom Bayern wants to let go with an offer of around 30 million euros.
Bisseck started his professional career at 1. FC Köln and was initially awarded several times before moving permanently to Aarhus GF in Denmark in the summer of 2022. After just one year he moved on to Inter Milan, where he finally made his breakthrough. He has so far been nominated once for the DFB team as part of the Nations League quarter-finals in March 2025 and completed a short stint.
