FC Bayern is planning an XXL contract for Jamal Musiala

At just 20 years old, Jamal Musiala is already an indispensable regular player for FC Bayern. The Bundesliga club absolutely wants to keep the midfielder in their own ranks. The German record champions are therefore apparently planning a long-term contract extension with the youngster.

As transfer reporter Ekrem Konur reveals, FC Bayern probably wants to extend Musiala’s working paper up to and including the 2028/29 season.

The national player is currently tied to the German record champions until 2026. Musiala is repeatedly linked with top European clubs due to his rapid development. Konur mentions Liverpool FC, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain by name.

The journalist on X (formerly Twitter) does not explain what the future contract structure for Musiala might look like.

The 20-year-old moved from the Chelsea youth team to FC Bayern in 2019. The Munich team is said to have only transferred around 200,000 euros to the Premier League club at the time. Musiala’s market value is now many times higher.

FC Bayern wants to keep Jamal Musiala

But FC Bayern doesn’t want to sell the shooting star, on the contrary. “Jamal is already a fantastic football player today. He has incredible abilities and so many opportunities to improve further. We would do well to keep him with us for as long as possible,” explained Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen recently in the “BR” -Show “Blickpunkt Sport”.

“He has a contract with us until 2026 and knows what he has at FC Bayern, that all doors are open to him here,” Bayern President Herbert Hainer recently told the “Abendzeitung”: “I would like him to be with him for a very long time to have us.”

FC Bayern is fighting for Musiala. According to Konur, this could soon be reflected in a contract extension.
